We put people first

There’s nothing ordinary about joining the Nando’s family. We’re all about passion and personality. You’ll be part of a fun and inclusive workplace culture that encourages you to be your best self.

You’ll receive sweet perks, free Nando’s eats and get fired up about serving tasty, real food all while helping to change the lives of the people, communities, and planet around you. We also offer paid parental leave! No restaurant experience? No worries! We'll teach you on the job as part of our training program. Keen to find out more?

Do good whileyou work

When you work with us, you’ll be doing good in the world too. We’re always looking for ways to help change the lives of the people and communities around us, like through our national No Chuckin’ our Chicken program that donates excess chicken to people in need, and Nando’s Music Exchange program supporting up and coming music artists and creatives. We love helping! In 2020 we fed the nation, donating $500,000 to Foodbank to help generate 1 million meals to feed Aussies in need, provided 15,000 meals for music artists through the music charity Support Act and offered an ongoing discount to Healthcare and Emergency Services workers.

We work with small-scale, independent chilli farmers in Southern Africa (our heartland and the birthplace of Nando’s where our signature Nando’s African Birds Eye Chillies are grown!) to empower them to run a successful business. There’s plenty of ways you can get involved.

We’ve also set ambitious sustainability targets to be an active part of the climate change solution, and always eager to support you with causes that you’re passionate about. Does this light you up? Then we want to hear from you!

We stand for Equal Opportunity

We believe everyone is welcome to dine at our table. We’re lucky enough to work with over 4,000 Nandocas (that’s what we call our team), from all different backgrounds, ages and ethnicities, and every day we welcome thousands of Nando’s fans into our restaurants across Australia. So, we’re passionate about creating an environment where everyone feels safe and can be their whole self. We’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and seek to ensure that people are employed, trained and promoted fairly.

A career that willgrow with you

We want you to go places, which is why we start you on your Nando’s journey with an immersive introduction to your role and how we’ll continue to support you. You’ll get regular, ongoing training and opportunities for personal and professional development, so you’re set up for success as you grow your career through our leadership program. In fact, in the last year, most of our restaurant managers roles were filled by internal promotion!
